Jarrod is LBWco’s Founding Managing Director and a Senior Principal Environmental Scientist of LBWco.
He has operated as a professional consultant for over 20 years and has led well over 1000 projects across Australia during that time. Jarrod is an accomplished leader and collaborator within the environmental consulting industry with core technical expertise in the assessment and mitigation of risk posed by site contamination and in the delivery of pragmatic project solutions focussed on advancing the client’s projects or operations.
He advises oil and gas providers; property developers, engineers, architects, civil and construction companies; petroleum distributors; industrial, manufacturing, ports and rail companies; state government departments; local government; and project managers of large and small projects. With a talent for communication, he has a knack for simplifying the complicated and for seeing a way through what others have deemed “too difficult”. He relishes the chance to forge relationship that solve problems.
Committed to excellence and challenging the status quo, he is a sought after industry leader in site contamination and environmental advice. He currently sits on the Committee for Land Development with Property Council Australia, and trains in site contamination and environmental aspects for UDIA. He has been the past President, and Treasurer, of Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association (ACLCA) SA. He regularly advises on navigating scientific data and current legislation to progress our industry, and is in the process of attaining recognition as a Certified Environmental Practitioner Site Contamination Specialisation.
A dedicated family man, he shares the raising of 5 children with Kylie, and is the Division 1 coach for the Norwood Flames Basketball Club U23 women’s team.
